Evelyn is 6 months now! Halfway to 1-year old! She started solids a few weeks ago, and LOVES to eat. So far, she has tried sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, avocado, and rice cereal. She adores her brother and sister, and is always very attentive to whatever they are doing - usually it's loud and crazy, ha! Eliana can usually get Evie to laugh the hardest, which makes me smile! It's adorable to see them all interact and love on each other.
We've been having some issues with her sleeping. A few months ago, she would sleep 6-8 hour stretches at night, but the past month, I am lucky if it's a 4-hour stretch before she wakes up. And this past week, she's been waking up, super gassy, every 2-3 hours, just miserable. She is being treated for thrush, which I feel might be the cause of the excessive gassiness - so once that is cleared up, I am hoping for a happier baby at night! She also has a rash on her skin, but we are trying a cream, and so far, it seems to be helping a lot. Other than those issues, she is doing great. She loves to play during the day, she takes great naps, and she has been doing so much better at church!
The other day, L and I went out shopping, while Ezra finished up his nap, and Daddy and Evie "played". I came home to find the two of them sleeping! Ha! Too cute!
We love our sweet Evie girl! So thankful God blessed us with her!
